2015 CC Review – Week 3
- CC has racked up over 300 yards of offense in each of its first three games this season.  The last time the Rockets had at least three games in-a-row of 300 or more yards of offense were weeks 2-5 of the 2009 season when they had four.

- The CC defense has held its opponents to single digit first down totals for each of the first three games of the season for the first time since 1999 (5 straight games).
- The 536 passing yards through the first two games of the season for Nick Castiller are the most passing yards ever for a Rocket QB in the first three games of a season.  The second most is 472 yards by Austin Berry (2005).

- Nick Castiller moved into 8th on the career passing yards list with his 201 yard passing performance last week. He now has 1,329 career passing yards.  Next up on the list are Zach Brantley (1,432) and Doug Campbell (1,515).

- Dylan Hollis caught his 34th career pass (his reception total was incorrectly reported last week) moving him into a tie for the 12th position on the career receptions list with Brad Hart (2001-2004).  Tanner Nix, Shawnte Moss, and Jared Champion are next up on the list with 40 career receptions each.

- The 90-yard touchdown pass from Nick Castiller to Dylan Hollis is the third longest TD pass in school history.  A 96-yard TD pass from Jamie Curtis to Allen Crider and a 99-yard TD pass from David Cozart to Jerry Jessup are the only two that are longer.  The 99-yard TD pass is tied for the longest in the KHSAA football history.  The 96-yard pass is also listed in the KHSAA record book.

- Dylan Hollis moved into 7th in career receiving yards with 602 yards.  The next players on the list are Bobby Knox (654), Jerry Jessup (687), and Shawnte Moss (697).
- Nick Castiller is tied for 6th in career completions with current CC Offensive Coordinator and former Rocket QB, Sean Thompson.  They each have 110 completions.  In 5th place is Turner Martin with 120 and in 4th is Travis Gilbert with 140 completions.

- Travis McKinney became the 31st Rocket last week to have at least 150 tackles in his career.

- Travis Fitzgerald recovered his 7th career fumble which puts him in a tie for the second most in a career.  Tied with Fitzgerald are Andrew Freeman (2007-2010) and Gaige Courtney (2005-2008) and Billy Mills (1979-1982) holds the record with eight.  To qualify for the KHSAA state record book, a player needs 10 career fumble recoveries to be listed.

- Freshman Gavin Dickerson recorded 13 tackles last week giving him 22 for the season.  The freshman record of 49 tackles in a season is held by current Rocket Adam Beavers and Gaige Courtney (2005-2008).

2015 District Opponent Review – Week 3
- Russellville (3-0) – Their three opponents have a combined record of 3-6 this season.  They had blowout wins over Trigg County and Fort Campbell but played Butler County closer winning 52-42.  Butler is 2-1 this year.  They will be visiting the Rockets in week 9 with the district championship on the line.  The Panthers currently lead Class A in scoring with 142 points.

- Fulton City (1-2) – Fulton City has all but guaranteed themselves the third place spot in the district with a win last week over district opponent, Fulton County, 38-28.  Fulton City has handily lost to Ballard Memorial (8-34) and played a closer game against Greenfield (TN) (2-1), 20-35.  The grind of the season may be an issue for the Bulldogs as they have only 21 players on their roster.

- Fulton County (0-3) – Fulton County’s defense may be the biggest reason for their demise this season as they have allowed 146 points which is the third most in Class A.  Offensively, they have not scored less than 20 points in a game this season.  After blowout losses to Gleason (TN) (1-2) and Lake County (TN) (2-1), the Pilots played rival Fulton City a closer ballgame in week 3.
