Player Report: Injuries: Rodney Robertson (hand) will play; Jacob Long (ankle) will play.
Notes: Gaige Courtney needs just 77 tackles this season to become the all-time leading tackler in school history. The record is currently 287 and held by Wompie Stewart. Rodney Robertson needs one touchdown to have the third most receiving touchdowns in school history. Also, Robertson can become the team’s fourth leading rusher all-time if he has a 1,000-yard season.

LAKE COUNTY (Tenn.) (1-0)
Offense: Multiple
Defense: 4-3
Results this season:
Beat Trenton Peabody 35-34 last week
Scouting report: The Falcons are big up front and run a multiple offense, which includes some trick plays and features senior running back Carlos Young. The team’s playmaker, Young lines up at nearly every skill position, including quarterback, flanker, tight end and running back. Coach Al Starnes says the Falcons remind him of Fulton City, but with a more “imaginative offense.”

The series: This will be their first meeting.

Other Notes: Crittenden County is 19-32 all-time in season-opening games... the Rockets are 1-5 against out-of-state teams, its only win was over Dexter, Mo., in 1992... Crittenden is 0-1 against out-of-state teams on a neutral field, losing last year to Massac County 63-0 in the Alliance Bowl at Graves County, which was the second worst loss in school history.
