There will be some post-season smoke rolling across Rocket Field at dusk Friday.
A group of Rocket football fans will be tailgating in the bus garage parking lot above Rocket Stadium prior to Friday's football game. The group, which includes flag football and little league football player families, will be above the west end zone and they are encouraging all Rocket fans to join them.
Bring hot dogs, burgers, wings, chips and/or buns and join the playoff fun.
"We want to create a college football type atmosphere before the game," said Jamie Brown, who is helping head up the effort.
There will be plenty of grills, just bring along some grub, the organizers say.
Additionally, the Rocket golf team will be selling pork chop sandwiches on the east end of the stadium.
