The originally scheduled middle school football game between Trigg and Crittenden on Tuesday at Marion has been cancelled due to repairs at Rocket Stadium.
The harsh winter killed about one-third of the Bermuda grass on Rocket Field. Damaged areas were re-sodded a few days ago and the field should be ready by Crittenden's first high school game on Aug. 22. In fact, Crittenden Middle School's game Saturday at Marion against Massac County is still on as scheduled.
