Jimmy Hopper, 1963 – Week 1-Week 3 – 10 total TDs in three games and scored 61 total points were what Jimmy Hopper started off the season with in 1963. Crittenden started strong as a team beating their first three foes 143-25.
Dennis Mott, 1964 – Week 2-Week 4 – Dennis Mott ran for 11 TDs in three games and also returned a kickoff for a TD. The only stats we for those three games are the yardage of the TD runs which total 165 yards. The Rockets went 3-0 in this stretch and outscored their opponents 105-0.
Ronnie Moss, 1988 – Week 4-Week 6 – Moss ran 44 times in those three games and amassed 671 yards which is an average of 15.3 yards per carry! Ronnie Moss scored 11 TDs in three games.
David Beverly, 1997 – Week 1-Week 3 – David Beverly ran 68 times for 527 yards for an average of 7.8 yards per carry. In those three games he crossed the goal line rushing the ball 6 times. Beverly scored 38 points over that period.
Blake Gardner, 2005 – Week 8-Week 10 – Blake Gardner ran for 625 yards and 5 rushing TDs. Altogether he scored 42 points in the three games by adding a receiving TD and three 2-point conversions.
Jeramie Sorina, 2006 – Week 8-Week 10 – Sorina did not play in the week 9 game due to pneumonia but in the week 8 and week 10 games Sorina had 579 yards rushing and 9 rushing TDs. His average per carry was 7.7 yards.
Rodney Robertson, 2008 – Week 11-Week 12 – Robertson unloaded on his opponents in the first two rounds of the playoffs in 2008 by carrying the ball 30 times for 447 yards. Robertson added 9 rushing TDs to go with his yardage. Crittenden won those two playoff games by a combined score of 95-8.
Devon Nesbitt, 2017 – Week 10-Week 12 – As Nesbitt hit his high point last season statistically speaking, he totaled 577 yards on 69 carries which averaged to 8.4 yards per carry. Nesbitt ran for 12 rushing TDs during the three game span. The Rockets won those three game 147-28. In the week 11 game, Nesbitt only received 5 carries for 107 yards but he did score four times!
