2018 District Opponent Review – Week 1- Russellville, AP #13 (0-1) – 4A Warren East beat Russellville 0-48.  After a strong RHS start, which included their second drive making it to the Warren East 10 yard line, it ended in a turnover on downs.  The deficit was 27 at the half and the Panthers surrendered three scoring plays of 30 yards or more in the game.  Warren East was 6-5 in 2018 and made a first round exit in the playoffs at the hands of Hopkinsville (0-24).
- Fulton County, AP #16 (1-0) – Gleason (TN) fell victim to the Pilots by a score of 42-14.  Fulton County is making typically out of state tour again this year scheduling four opponents from Tennessee.
- Caverna (0-1) – Lost 12-44 to 3A Hart County.  In 2018, Hart County was 7-4 but had an abrupt exit in the playoffs to Paducah Tilghman, 7-50,
