2019 District 1A, District 1 Review – Week 5
- Russellville UNR (0-6) – Somerset nailed Russellville 64-12 which was expected.  Fulton County will travel to Russellville this week.  This game will settle the #3 seed in the district.  With Fulton County’s recent successes, it would seem they should come away with the victory.
- Caverna UNR (1-5) – Webster County cruised past Caverna, 49-6.  Caverna is idle this week before taking on the Rockets in Marion next week.
- Fulton County T-#13 (5-1) – Fulton County surprised many by pulling off a 20-14 upset of the #5 team in class A for the state of Tennessee.  Three turnovers and 130 yards in penalties hurt Greenfield (Fulton County had one turnover and 35 yards in penalties).  Several Greenfield penalties killed drives which had momentum.  The game was tied at 14 all after three quarters.  To that point, Caleb Kimble, Fulton County’s elite running back, had been held in check.  Fulton County put Kimble in at quarterback and spread the field.  With Kimble’s elite talent, he became even harder to stop when taking the snaps.  Fulton County ended up scoring in the fourth for the win.  Kimble finished 3 of 5 passing for 45 yards and 85 yards rushing and two TDs.  Fulton County travels to Russellville this week.
