2025 Kentucky Football Coaches Association District Player of the Year

Each season, one player from each football district in every class is selected as "Player of the Year." This year, Caden Howard was named the 2025 2A District 1 Player of the Year—marking the ninth time a Crittenden County player has received this honor.

Caden Howard is notable for being the only Crittenden County player to win the award in a class other than Class A. Hunter Boone remains the only player to win the award twice. Additionally, only two past winners—Nathan Heady and T.K. Guess—went on to receive all-state recognition, both earning honorable mention honors by the Louisville Courier-Journal.
