The Rockets have cracked the top 5 on a few occasions, ironically ranking only as high as 5th in 1985 when they won the state championship. In 1997, Crittenden started the season 3-0 and was ranked No. 4 for a time.
Crittenden remains 4th in the Bluegrass Preps poll.
