CC 2010 Season Stat Review
During week 3, Andrew Freeman became only the third CC player ever to have touchdown
runs of 60 yards or more in back to back games. The other two to accomplish
the feat are Rodney Robertson in 2007 (Ballard Memorial, Union County) and Ronnie
Moss who actually accomplished the feat for three straight games (Webster County,
Reidland, Hancock County).
The 29 points scored in the second quarter of the McLean County game were the
most points scored in a second quarter by the Rockets before 2002.
CC is averaging 7.0 penalties per game which is the highest average per game since
2002 when CC averaged 7.6 penalties per game.
The 4 interceptions thrown last week were the most by a quarterback since J.D. Gray threw
four in the 0-63 loss to Massac County to open the 2007 season. As a team the Rockets
had five total interceptions thrown in the Massac County (IL) game.
