The record for most sacks in a game by a CC player is four which is held by Mike Wheeler (1979, Russellville).
- The 179 rushing yards by Dustin Hernandez were the most rushing yards by a Rocket since the region championship game in 2009 when J.D. Gray ran for 205 yards in his final game, and in a season opener since 2008 when Rodney Robertson rushed for 258 yards against Lake County (TN), and in a home opener since 1997 when David Beverly rushed for 215 yards on 22 carries against Heath.
