Grant Gardner has started out the season with 322 rushing yards.  Even though this total puts him  on pace to rush for more than 1600 yards this season his total for two consecutive games of rush yards does not come close to the record held by David Beverly.  Beverly rushed for 461 yards in two consecutive games in 1996, 259 against Russellville and 202 against Trigg County..
