Rockets face tough foe in playoffs

Crittenden County (3-6) enters the playoffs tonight at Owensboro Catholic (8-2) after losing its last four games by a combined score of 187 - 10. It could be another long night for Crittenden County because the Aces are one of the best  2A teams in western Kentucky and their passing attack – headed by QB Houston Hartz – is as prolific as any the Rockets have faced this season.

Last week the Aces finished off the regular season win a 46 - 18 win over Barren County.

Owensboro Catholic Head Coach John Edge told iSurf Owensboro that his offense will find either feast or famine against the Rockets. If the half dozen or so Aces receivers have a good night, it could spell trouble for the Rockets.

Crittenden lost 58-0 at Owensboro Catholic in last year's playoff opener.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m., at Steele Stadium on Frederica Street in Owensboro.
