Week 8 Review

Noah Dickerson caught at least six passes three times in a game this season.  He is the first player in school history to catch at least six passes in three different games during the same season.

Noah Dickerson tied the career record for most games with at least 6 receptions by recording his fourth last week.  T.K. Guess is the only other player to have at least four games with six receptions.  No other player has more than two.

Last week was the first time since week 3 of the 2004 season against Union County that a CC team has scored 14 or more points in the fourth quarter and lost the game. In 2004, CC lost to Union County 49-52.

Lane Wallace now has 259 career rushing attempts which ranks him 18th in that category.  Next on the list is Andrew Freeman with 263.

Lane Wallace has 17 career rushing touchdowns.  17 touchdowns places him 15th on the career listing for rushing touchdowns.  Just ahead of Wallace are Donny Beverly and Sean Thompson with 18 rushing touchdowns.

For career touchdowns, Lane Wallace ranks 18th but only one player, like Wallace, is on the list and has only scored rushing touchdowns meaning that the player only found the end zone by running the ball and no other means.  The other player is Demetric Moss who had 18 career touchdowns, all rushing.

Lane Wallace scored his 102nd point of his career last week ranking him 19th on the career scoring list.  In 17th and 18th are Donny Beverly with 110 points and Demetric Moss with 108.
