31-27 All-Time Record in Home Openers
Largest Win - 53 Points - 2010 - McLean County - 61-8
Most Points Scored - 61 Points - 2010 McLean County.  In that game, CC scored 29 points in the 2nd quarter which was the most points scored in the seconded quarter at that time.  It has been tied since (2011, Hopkins County Central).
Other Notes:
CC has not scored a special teams touchdown since week 6 of the 2011 season against Marshall County (37 games).  The last time the Rockets went longer without scoring a special teams touchdown was a 43 game stretch from week 1 of the 1997 season to week 8 of the 2000 season.
Ironically, after the streak was broken in 2000 the Rockets scored a special teams touchdown in 5 of the next 19 games.
CC returns to Class A football with district opponents of Fulton City, Fulton County, and Russellville.  Russellville would seem to be the main challenger for a district title.  In 2014, the Panthers went 9-4, finished 2nd in the district, and lost to Mayfield 14-42 in the region final.
In 2013, Russellville went 10-3, finished 2nd in the district, and lost to Mayfield 14-42 in the region final.
Travis McKinney is one of only two players in school history to have at least 7 casused fumbles, 6 sacks, and 15 tackles for loss in a career.  Matt Jent (1996-1999) is the only other player to accomplish this feat with 8 caused fumbles, 8 sacks, and 21 tackles for loss.
