Other Records, Notes, and Season Recap
- Nick Castiller had his 11th, 100+ yard passing game of the season which breaks the single season record held by Austin Berry (10, 2004).
- Nick Castiller passed for over 200 yards six times in his career.  The only Rocket QB to best Castiller’s total is Austin Berry who passed for over 200 yards seven times.
- Alex Cosby became the 5th player in school history to have 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns in the same season.  The others are Jimmy Hopper (1961), Gary Winters (1970), David Beverly (1996), and J.D. Gray (2009).
- This season, five Rocket receivers had 250 or more yards receiving.  Never before had there been more than two receivers record the feat in the same season.
- Nick Castiller did break the individual passing record for a season but the Rockets passed for more yards as a team in 2005 vs. 2015 (2,179 vs. 2,133).
- The Rockets allowed 30 rushing touchdowns this season.  The last time CC allowed 30 or more rush TDs was 1994 when the team surrendered 30 as well.
- Last week was only the 15th time since 1994 that the Rockets have not been able to pull out a win when piling up 300 or more yards of total offense.  Since 1994, the team is 89-14 when collecting 300-plus yards on offense.
