Ruling expected Monday from KHSAA

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) has yet to rule on the incident that occurred last week during the McLean County at Crittenden County football game.

McLean has issued a self-imposed sanction against its team, declaring a reported 24 players ineligible for tonight's game against Muhlenberg County.

KHSAA spokesperson Joe Angolia said the KHSAA is following McLean's intentions closely and will make a final ruling on the episode on Monday.

Two McLean players, Tyler Beals and Dakota Davis, were ejected from last week's game for fighting and Crittenden assistant coach Jeremy Wheeler was ejected. Players are required to sit out one game after an ejection. A coach is penalized greater, having to sit out two games following an ejection.
