Crittenden County running back Xander Tabor was selected to the All Purchase Football Team. The honor was revealed last week at the annual All Purchase Football Banquet in Paducah, hosted by The Paducah Sun.
Tabor set a school record with 1,616 yards rushing in a single season, eclipsing a mark first set in 1963 by Jimmy Hopper.
He also rushed for 17 touchdowns during the Rockets’ third straight appearance in the Class A Regional Championship game and a 10-3 record.
Tabor also caught 14 passes for 163 yards, was 1-for-1 passing and set a school single-season record for yards from scrimmage with 1,779.
In addition to playing running back, Tabor was also a defensive back where he recorded a season-best four interceptions and 33 tackles.
