Class 1A, District 1
- Russellville UNR (1-2) – Somerset nailed Russellville 41-9 last week which
was expected. Fulton County will host Russellville
this week. This game looks to most
likely to settle the #3 seed in the district as both teams should dispatch of
Caverna quite easily. If Crittenden
County continues the quality of play it had against Murray last week, the
Russellville/Fulton County game will also be settling the number two seed!
- Caverna UNR (0-2) – As mentioned above, Caverna looks to be clearly heading toward the number
four seed in the district. Caverna has been trounced 91-21 in their first two games combined against Breckinridge County and Todd County Central.- Fulton County UNR (0-2) – Fulton County has remained a
small mystery to some since they are just now finishing their tour south of the
Kentucky border as their first two games were against Tennessee schools. Fulton County will take on its first opponent
from the state of Kentucky this week at home against Russellville. Currently 0-2, Fulton County has been slightly
competitive against their competition losing 12-28 and 0-6.
