District 1A, District 1 Review – Week 4
- Russellville UNR (1-2) – Russellville’s matchup with Fulton County
was postponed and rescheduled for October 30th. Russellville takes on 2A, Edmonson County
(2-2) this week.
- Caverna UNR (0-3) – Caverna was handled by Webster County
20-49. Murray beat Webster County
47-6.
- Fulton County UNR (0-3) – Fulton County’s matchup with Russellville
was postponed and rescheduled for October 30th. The Pilots take on Hopkins County Central (1-3)
at home this week. The only win for
Hopkins County Central this year is 40-35 over archrival Madisonville-North Hopkins.

Notes
Coach Thompson now has the second most wins in school history, 24.
Crittenden County had seven scoring plays of 46 yards or
longer in the win over Trigg County. The
previous high for school scoring plays 46 yards or longer was four (1963,
Christian County).
Luke Crider is the only quarterback to throw three touchdown
passes of 50 yards or longer in the same game.
Sean Thompson (2003, Muhlenberg North) and Taylon Polk (2006, Logan
County) are the only two quarterbacks to throw two TD passes of at least
50 yards in the same game prior to Crider’s performance on Friday.
Luke Crider had an 82-yard touchdown pass last week. There have only been two TD passes longer than
Crider’s last week since his father, Allen Crider, was the receiver on a
96-yard TD pass from Jamie Curtis in 1990.
Xander Tabor’s 72-yard TD run was the longest CC rushing TD in
the past 54 Crittenden County football games.
During week 6 of the 2016 season versus Union County, Hunter Jones had a
79-yard TD run.
Crittenden County is averaging 8.8 first downs per game this
season. Since 1996, the only season
which CC has averaged fewer first downs was in 2010 (8.6).
Crittenden County is allowing 13.3 first downs per game this
season which is the most per game since the 1990 season.

Rocket opponents averaged more than 24.2 pass attempts per game.
