  • Caden Howard set the record for receptions by a sophomore in a season.  He now has 45 receptions.  The previous record holder was Chad Perryman with 34.  Howard is also approaching the record for receiving yards (624) and receiving TDs (9) by a sophomore.  Howard has 500 yards receiving and eight receiving TDs.
  • Micah Newcom
    • Newcom, passed for 260 yards last week which is the 15th highest total for a single game.
    • Newcom became the 2nd QB to have 300 career completions
    • Newcom, regardless of how the rest of the season plays out, will hold onto his lead for highest career completion percentage category.  He literally could go 0-for-64 passing and still have the highest career completion percentage
    • Newcom recorded the 15th time a player has had 1,500 or more yards of total offense in a season.  Newcom becomes the fourth player to be on the list twice.
