Last Week Review

  • The 21 points scored in the first quarter were the most by the Rockets during the first period in the past 31 games.

  • Newcom’s scoring throws against Ohio County gave him four games in his career with at least four TD passes which is the second most for Rocket QB.
  • Newcom’s 19 completions are tied for 12th most in a game.
  • Last season, Newcom had eight games where he completed two-thirds of his passes (minimum 14 passing attempts).  Against Ohio County, he completed 73.08% of his passes which was the first time in 2023 he topped the 66.7% needed to make the list.
