Random Notes

• Quinn Summers’s 351 passing yards were the most by a CC QB against Calloway County.  Additionally, this was the sixth time Summers has passed for more than 200 yards in a game this season breaking the record of five set by Nick Castiller in 2015.  His passing yards were the 3^rd most ever in a single game regardless of opponent (361, Hunter Boone (2018) & 447, Hunter Boone (2017)).  Summers is now in third place for passing yards in a season and is within 62 yards of second place, Hunter Boone (2018).
• Summers broke the record for completions in a season by a junior with 176.  Previous record was 171, Hunter Boone in 2017.  School record is 204 by Micah Newcom, 2023.
• Summers needs 21 passing attempts to have the most by a junior (Hunter Boone, 2017).
• Summers is 38 attempts from breaking the season record of 315 attempts by Micah Newcom (2023).
• The CC Defense held its opponent scoreless in a game for the second time this season.  Since 2000, the only time Crittenden County has had more than two shutouts in a season was in 2019 (3).
• The win last week made head coach, Gaige Courtney the second winningest coach in school history with 24 victories.
• Cam’Ron Belcher broke the record for receiving yards by a senior with 791 receiving yards this season.  The record was held by Ethan Dossett (2018).  Belcher needs three receptions and two receiving to hold each of those categories for a senior as well.
