- Consecutive games with a reception.  Rocket receivers, Alex Cosby, Dylan Hollis, and Ethan Hunt, each have respectable streaks of games with a reception currently in progress.  Cosby’s streak is at 10, Hollis nine, and Hunt eight.  Cosby’s streak had been overlooked this year due to a combination of two statistical errors from last season.  These are the longest streaks since Bobby Knox caught a pass in 12 straight games dating from round 1 of the 2011 playoffs to round 1 of the 2012 playoffs.  The record holder is T.K. Guess who caught at least one pass in his final 22 games.
- One of the statistical errors mentioned above was leaving off a reception for Alex Cosby last season (reception was for zero yards).  With the updated total, Alex Cosby now has 31 career receptions.  Cosby is the 18th player in school history to have at least 31 career receptions.
- Nick Castiller became the 26th player in school history to score 15 total touchdowns in a career.  Castiller has scored 16 rushing TDs.
- Dylan Hollis is now the third player in Rocket history to have at least 600 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards.  Hollis has 681 rushing yards and 691 receiving yards in his career. The other two players to accomplish this feat are T.K. Guess (1,095 rushing, 1,774 receiving) and Denis Hodge (1,237 rushing, 874 receiving).  Both Guess and Hodge had the most receiving yards in school history at the time when their careers ended.
- Gavin Dickerson recorded his 51st tackle of the season which is a new record for a freshman.  The prior record of 50 tackles was held by current Rocket DE, Adam Beavers and LB, Gaige Courtney (2005-2008).
- Travis McKinney recorded his 10th career sack which puts him in a tie with Jeff Porter, Aaron Berry, and Dylan Clark for second on the all-time list.  Zac Beverly (1999-2002) is the career leader with 15 sacks.
- Dylan Smith has 76 tackles this season.  The only players with more tackles in an entire season since 2011 are Travis McKinney (2014, 77) and Bobby Knox (2012 & 2011, 95 & 78).
- With the five extra points made against Fulton City, Will Perkins has now moved into 9th place for most career PATs made with 19.
- Will Perkins is currently tied with George Congenie (2003) and Brad Madden (1999) for the 9th most PATs in a single season.  Next up on the list are Jordan Martin (2007) and Aaron Summer (1987) with 21 and Buddy McDaniel (1985) with 25.
- Travis McKinney and Travis Fitzgerald are the first teammates, in the same class, to record at least 150 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 5 caused fumbles, and 5 fumble recoveries in a career.  The other three players to accomplish the feat are Dylan Clark (2006-2009), Gaige Courtney (2005-2008) and Andrew Freeman (2007-2010) of which none were in the same graduating class.
